I took the boys to the Blue Angels airshow yesterday. These guys fly pretty tight, but I think this is pushing it a little bit. You be the judge. Great show!

I was dissapointed to learn that my favorite ride at Six Flags over Texas was demolished yesterday to make way for a new roller coaster. Originally known as the “Texas Cliffhanger,” it was 128 feet of “free-fall” bliss. My friend Tom always hated it, but I made him ride it as often as I could. Over the years, the Cliffhanger went through several name changes. It went by “G-Force” and eventually “Wildcatter.” Despite the stupidity of those names, the thrill of the ride never changed. I haven’t been on the ride for probably 10 years, but it still brings me sadness to see it go - it was a classic. Here’s a great video of the demolition:
