This year’s Pro Bowl was pretty exciting. Not only was the game pretty good, but my good friend Tom came over and offspring #1 got to attend his first NFL football game.
He talked about it for weeks…counting down the days. We started the game off w/a little tailgating. Nothing like bratwurst and Diet Coke at 10 am to get the day rolling. Offspring #1 was a little confused about who was actually playing there. He spent half the game yelling excitedly for players that weren’t even there. I’m not sure how much of the game he actually watched either.
It must have made a good impression though. He gave me a handmade Valentine’s Day card. He said that I was the best dad ever. I made his dream come true by going to the game and tailgating. So I got that going for me, which is nice.
